Dr. Sears' L.E.A.N. Program

The Dr. Sears Wellness Institute educates on the L.E.A.N. Program.  It is not about a diet, but it focuses on a new lifestyle that promotes better health and feeling younger through "right" eating and movement.

  • Lifestyle ~ How do you live? Are you on the go or at home more?

  • Exercise ~ How do you move? What type of activities are you involved with?

  • Attitude ~ How do you think? Are you positive or negative?

  • Nutrition ~ How do you eat? Do you eat more produce or more processed foods?

The L.E.A.N. program uses an analogy of a Traffic Light to educate individuals on simple ways to help themselves and their families on how to eat for healthier living.

Programs & Services Offered

As a certified health coach through this wellness institute, I offer the following programs to help groups and individuals to take back their health one simple step at a time.


  • Family ~ group or individual program (6 weeks only)

  • Pregnancy ~ group or individual program (all trimesters - including preparation for pregnancy)

  • PrimeTime (age 40+) ~ group or individual program (4 weeks only)


  • Pantry Makeover ~ Unsure if the food items in your pantry are healthy for you? This service is for you! This can be done virtually or in person (Lake Norman area

  • Prep for Grocery Shopping ~ Not sure of what's healthy or not so healthy when grocery shopping?  Would you like a helpful list of healthy items to look for?  This is for you! This can be done virtual or in person (Lake Norman area)


12 Week Health Coaching Program

  • Free 15 -20 minute consultation( Is this program right for you?)

  • One conversation per week to review the past week and discuss what's next (zoom call or in person)

  • Access to me 24/7 via email or text (please allow me up to 24 hours to respond)

  • Encouragement, support, handouts, and education on food journaling, detox, clean eating, and more.
