Walking is the best form of exercise to begin with, without it being taxing to your body. Work up to 10,000 steps in a day (this is 5 miles/1 1/2 hours) Start with one mile per day for a week if not used to walking Increase as quickly or slowly as you need to. Walk at least 1 mile each day for 7 days
